Gray Tree Frog (Hyla versicolor)

Masters of camouflage when they want to be. This little one lives in the Lantana bed . This is one of his "coats of many (natural) colours !" We have quite a few of his buddies here.. but you dont often see them.... and i love their chirrup song at night.

Ceropegia ^club

Very nice! I love to hear them chirp. Heard one very persistent one last spring and finally discovered why. He wanted to attract a mate to a large barrel of water on my patio where they laid eggs. I had tons of tadpoles. So fun watching them grow to little adults.

I love them. Through the terrible droughts they were fewer but when there was a little water in the cattle pond in the "Moo Cow Wood" behind me they go crazy !

We had rain last Spring.. so they were in ecstasy this Summer !
