I have some smaller bushes in containers that I have to bring inside over the winter. They barely stay alive due to the shorter growing season and insufficient heat and sun, but when they flower, they are spectacular.

Its a real gamble Esther. Here.. they love the 110F Summer (and more) but they do ok with the -15F ice storms too.

My real enemy is drought. They dont want to flower in drought when young trees... but the older ones do better. You see them everywhere here... they have adapted.
