Perth as seen from one of my windows in Fiona Stanley Hospital.
My apologies for (a) the poor quality of the photograph; and (b) its mundane nature. I've been in this hospital on and off since late January and this is the first picture I've worked on since being discharged. Sorry for my absence.
I hope there are still people on ipernity to see it and join me in thanking all gods, doctors, nurses, researchers and scientists who give us hope, chemotherapy and transplants. Yay for the good guys!

SO glad you are Home...
There is NOTHING "mundane" about being a survivor and taking photos of that you lived to see.
I have a very dear friend who lives in Rivervale and works in Perth.. we have known each other years.. but I have never had a city scape pic from her.
I love this
Now... go on GETTING WELL !!

Photography will be certainly a vey good company in your healing path to full recovery!!
Looking forward to seeing other works of yours, my sincerest and best wishes!

Like you, John, I'm recovering from something unpleasant and last year was under strict instructions not to overdo it. But now I'm much better and able to get out into the mountains again and take some photos. I found Panoramio and later ipernity great therapy in so many ways and like you I really hope this terrific site survives and flourishes!
Having only just now got to know your super gallery a little, I shall enjoy further visits and I look forward to seeing more great shots from you soon!
Best wishes,
Andy
