Mandurah estuary, early morning.

(This is an adjusted copy of the original photograph, uploaded following some very useful criticism from Pam J. To see what the fuss was about, please look below in the comments. Ain't the Ipernity community wonderful?)

Its is BEAUTIFUL !!

Can I make one little suggestion... straighten the horizon. It will give the perspective a even greater pop.

Thank you, Pam. I know what you mean about the horizon, and I did try to adjust it; however, there are so many straight lines (both horizontal and vertical) and the tree-line also impacts on the horizon line. In the end, I went with what I thought was the lesser of the evils and used the boardwalk as the datum line. Thanks for your observation, though, much appreciated that you've thought about the image.

John.... I do understand.... Its really hard to decide what line to use !

I actually just did a screen shot to see what I would use and I chose that first deep plank line as the straight line to the bottom edge....and that seemed to work .

Wow, Pam. A difference of 1.12 degrees on that deep plank line makes all the difference. Thank you for your patience and your help. I'm not going to change the image on Ipernity, in part because I don't know how to edit it on here other than take it down and start again, but also because perhaps my error might be instructive to others.
