HummingBird Hawk moth feeding on Himalayan Balsam.
I had never seen one until this year and Ive seen easily 6-7 in the last couple of months.
First ive managed to get a photo of and it wasn't easy!!!

I have only ever seen 2 of these.
Both on the honeysuckle in my garden.
Never got a photo though.

many thanks Erich , I would love to see a swallowtail! They are only in a few small areas of the UK unfortunately where they live and one are close to me. I did see one in Greece a few years ago though and they are stunning
