A very uncommon bird now in the uk but luckily in the Wigan area we have about 30% of th whole population, Even so, its quite rare to catch one and especially like this coming from the nest. The birds nest is usually a hole they dig out of an old or softwooded tree, in this case a old Elder tree and fairly low down.
