I hadn't heard of the Belsize Tunnel before spotting this ventilation shaft next to a block of flats in Parkhill Road. The tunnel takes the Midland Main Line between Kentish Town and West Hampstead. There's a wall at the back of the carpark and a taller person could probably see the tunnel entrance below. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belsize_Tunnel

Replica of the mosaic that was originally on the side of the Fleet Community Centre, which had stood nearby until it was demolished to make room for a modern block of flats. The mosaic was designed by Jim Anderson and installed by Kenya Mosaics.

Two signs, one painted over the other, fading at different rates. King's and Bates's were owned by the same company. One sign reads:

These fragments of grave stones mark the location of the former wall that separated the burial grounds of St George's Bloomsbury and St George the Martyr. (See explanatory sign in previous photo.)
