Joe Strummer Subway
The pedestrian subway that goes under the Harrow and Edgware roads is named after Joe Strummer, who lived in several squats in the area. The Clash sang about the Westway, which is overhead, in "London's Burning." Alas, the Subway Gallery was nowhere to be found and the website offers no information on its relocation or closure.
