There are many sand pits around Sulejówek. Some of them are one hundred years old, remembering times when sand and clay (from numerous clay pits) were used to rebuild Warsaw and nearby towns after WWI. Some are deep, some are shallow, all are dry with trees struggling to survive at their borders. ----- Olympus XA + Kodak T-Max 400 + Kodak HC-110 (Dil.B) My dog loves this place. Not so much as the Glinianki swamp, though... press [z]

Light was gone, the forest was dark. I made three shots juggling with f5.6-8 and 1/30-1/15 sec, because I did not have my tripod with me.

I have a hard time explaining to my dog why we can't go there now. Theoretically dog-walking is allowed but as at least a half of our municipal police know that we have a garden large enough to accommodate any dog's needs while in lockdown so our options are limited ;/ ----- Olympus XA + Kodak T-Max 400 + Kodak HC-110 (Dil.B)
