This old homestead was built by the Czernikiewicz family in 1809.
Every second or third generation added something to it while preserving old structure almost intact.
New chambers and rooms were added in 1870 and 1920.
Two old ladies (direct descendants of the original builders)
eventually moved out in 1971.
Now the homestead is a part of the Kielce Countryside Museum.
