Red, white and black

My son and I were standing on a bridge over the M4 in Berkshire to get night captures. After some time a police car parked up on the eastbound hard shoulder (red lights) and two police persons scrambled up to us. Some motorist thought we had suicidal ideas and phoned in. They were completely perplexed when we explained what we were doing, obviously not photographers and with a whiff of disdain they left - we nearly fell over the bridge we were laughing so much at their reaction!!
