Cerrajón de Monte (Sonchus acaulis)

El cerrajón de monte o angoja (Sonchus acaulis) es una especie endémica de Tenerife y Gran Canaria. Pequeño arbusto, perenne, con tallo corto y leñoso, raramente ramificado y de entre 50 y 80 cm de altura. El cerrajón tiene una gran roseta basal que puede alcanzar hasta un metro de diámetro; de la parte central de la roseta basal surge un largo y vistoso tallo florífero que puede llegar a alcanzar más de 1,5 m de altura.
