America Revisited

In what seems like another lifetime past, I moved my life to Denver Colorado on May 8th 2008. I moved there for love which in time dissolved. There is no desire to go back to that time for what dissolved. The residues from that experience exist in the beauty of the American continent that I was glad and grateful to see, that being only a speck that captivated me, I have good friends remaining from that time whom I value, and I have the seminal lessons I learned there and within. True I struggled with America's voice about itself but I came to see it as no different to the folk stories of great personalities and their boastful brags and big dreams. America is the land of the snake oil salesman from earliest times and now we find it still alive and weller :-) in this information/disinformation age and time space we exist in.

America it seems may well have been built on the chance of someone believing what you say!

I struggled with Fox tho it was on all the time, I fell in love with Sarah Palin.....and then out of love with everything as I wised up to Hannity, O Reilly, Beck and others. I can to be bitterly transforming to healthily cynical.

Entering as a thinking...or so I thought conservative....I left and now by comparison a flaming liberal.

I entered an evangelical, born again thinking fundementalist......and left a hermit sitting on a hill pondering and watching, seeing things the frog doesnt see if he doesnt get out of the bath somehow.

I have no angst about those times and I have gratefulnesses about them and the people involved........I have morphed into someone different and way way grounded and happy with who I am now.

I used a Canon EOS 30D back in those days, and I have thousands of images from this time that I have sifted and kept.

This album is a record of that journey. It mirrors but does not contain all the images in my American Sojourn Album. I process way differently now......15 years down the road.
