M42

I initially got into m42 lenses by accident, and then they became a choice.

The cost of lenses for Joe Average income I find prohibitive. As one who does not think clarity or speed are essential lense criteria the old m42 lenses are doable for me and I find them beautiful.

Also, as one who resists the movement of digital and a non believer in the latest and greatest as surpassing older technology, using m42 lenses, some clean, some fungus filled...using them allows me to express some form or resistance or taking control of what I use in my photography.

Real glass, and at a price I can afford.

I find a lot of pleasure in this.
