This stone bench can be found in Vuosaari, Helsinki. No one knows who's built it or how old it actually is. It's just "always been there". Nowadays this whole slope down to the shore is built with new houses. They have preserved this small monument.

I'm so pleased to hear that they have kept this monument - it obviously was built for someone or something and even though no-one can remember why, it's something to keep as a memento. It's very well made too - so maybe not a simple thing to do.
