hietalahti
Hietalahti, Helsinki. Late August. The ducks came to enjoy the sun, which turned the colours on the shore stones and water, well, weird.

And...magnificent DUCKY BUTTS! You don't know that I have a thing for waterfowl BUTTS in the air! Ok, actually, I am crazy about ALL FLUFFY BIRDY BUTTS! I know, you need to throw me into the psychiatric ward but there you have it. I love them! Here is a picture that sends me into BIRDY BUTT BLISS every time I see it:
And, if you click on the picture, you'll see many insets...I could have picked any of the others for the main shot that day...NO I COULDN'T HAVE!! DUCKY BUTTS UNITE! :D
I see what you mean about the light changing the colours of the stones as well as the water.
