Grumpy old man like me. Happy holiday, ipernity´s!
During the last five days I´d been called so many times as "moron", as being "an idiot", a "fascist", a "dictator", a "narrow minded guy", as "old-fashioned" or plain simple as "being a lobbyist".
Why was I called with such rude words? Well, because I´m standing behind ipernity´s group-rules and what they are talking about banners and awards in comments. I got called like this for having another opinion as a few other users.
What ipernity are saying about graphic awards and invitions inside comments:
"Images inserted into comments are still allowed and rules haven't changed:
- graphic awards or graphic invitations to groups are forbidden"
And because I stand behind their rules about group invitions inside of comments:
"Using graphic awards or graphic invitations [to groups] is stricltly forbidden
Do not use the comments and especially not graphics in the comment section"
I like it to discuss such matters in the blog of Team ipernity and everywhere else where it´s discussed. This is something you can call an active, healthy community. If things doesn´t get discussed anymore it seemed like nobody´s caring about it anymore. I care about ipernity. :o)
Well, unfortunally sometimes it seemed like some folks can´t handle it to discuss things like that without being rude to others but I´m OK with being an old grumpy men. And I don´t use such words in discussions at all because I think it cast a negative light at people if they are in the need of using such terms, but it´s their choice...
And as long ipernity have these rules about graphic awards and invites in their group-guidelines you can call me a lobbyist for comments without such group-advertisements insides comments, too. I will support their rules however they are, but if something changed it might be the case that I simple accept it without being a lobbyist anymore, lol.
If it would be possible to comply the requirements for CC-licenses in an usericon this would be my new one because it seemed to discribe my personality pretty well even more a photo ever will because I don´t look that grumpy at all. :-)
OK, gimme some drink now. Quickly.
Cheers!
Ah!
Happy holiday, ipernity´s!

That confirms the official opinion on "awards". I already thought they are after all promoting just as any, but glad to know Team Ipernity agrees on this. Thanks for pointing it out Stefan =)

Just like it´s done in the comments of the location of Old Elbe Tunnel - because it´s pretty difficult to take nice photos here because the light is something special. I already pointed you to all these examples by others in the comments of
Here are some others from the same location to show how different it could be looking if you play with your camera and their given settings:

And I can tell you - none of the shown photos was looking equal like you will find if you are in Elbetunnel by yourself... It´s nearly inpossible to take in the colors and lights of these weird streetlights into your camera. I already tried it by using a gray card - this would help, but not provide the real light as it´s seen in the tunnel.
So the only thing which has changed by ipernity five days ago was the possibility that you can now decide by yourself who should be able to provide you such examples like here, but as pointed by the team here this only applied to allowed images which don´t mean graphic awards or graphic invitions. :)
However, I suggest it´s discussed fully at the teamblog.
ୱ Kiezkickerde ( ͡°… club has replied to spih_2But sorry, I don´t want to discuss this any longer, I´m done with it because everything seemed to be said and - well - stated clearly by the team - and it wasn´t my intention to start it over here again. :-)
So - please... :o)
