The typical spring colours are lovely, both the yellow and the bright green. Your DoF shows off the flowers beautifully and the background bokeh is just gorgeous!

I went into a filed and picked a buttock up (buttercup) do you know anyone that's lost a buttock.
Such a beautiful shot with a great pov and wonderful blurry background, it is so nice to see the lush green grass and the bright yellow flowers.
Well done sir.

I hope you are not missing too many firefighters over there Keith as we have some of them over here as well as others from Hampshire.

Clever word play James........but I can say for certain that I've never picked a buttock up :-)))

Nevertheless, I'm pleased you like the photo though.......and thanks for your always kind comments.

I heard on the news there was some from Emsworth and Havant helping out. I hope it gets sorted soon, without anyone being injured or worse. I also hope it's not close to where you live..!!

Just over a mile away from us so we have been able to see and smell the smoke, we've had to have the windows and doors shut for yesterday and most of the day but so far no injuries or worst they have had helicopters dumping water on it for a lot of today and they will be there for overnight again.
All because some silly bugger had a camp fire!!.

Iper is being a pain today and won't let me upload pics :-((

The flowers were up on a raised bank so I was able to get level with them without going down on my knees, which was good ;-)

Glad you like the photo and thanks as always for your kind comments.

Best wishes, Keith ;-)

Aye buttercups. They seem to be one of the few plants that can survive the heat and draughts we are having at the moment. A nice capture here though from the Springtime. Well done.

Keep safe and cool. Herb

Glad you like this one Herb........it was much cooler back in April when I took this shot, so I doubt these survived.

Thanks for your visit and lovely comments as always! I hope the fire near you has been extinguished by now!

Herb Riddle club has replied to Keith Burton club
We have had rain over the last 12 or so hours and so I think that the two big nearby fires will be well and truly out by now. Our garden already looks greener than yesterday.

Good to hear this Herb, it must be a great relief. We're still waiting for some rain ;-(
