Butterflies here only on very occasional sightings, but we have an abundance of moths, and yesterday was flying ant day!

Its that time of year and what perfect conditions for these butterflies. We have lots in our garden but they flitter about too much for me to ever catch them on film and so my congratulations here. Well done.

Superb details here, Keith. I particularly like the area around the head with the compound eye, the antennae and the proboscis. The flower is Verbena bonariensis.

Thanks for the link. I have lots of Verbena in the garden and most pollinators seem to like them. The downside is that they blow around in the slightest of breezes and make photos difficult :-)
