Dandelion Seed Head

Dandelion Seed Head
Taken in my garden. I'm amazed that this wild flower has grown, bloomed and gone to seed so early in the season.

Nouchetdu38, trester88, Jean Paul Capdeville, Ronald Losure and 13 other people have particularly liked this photo

There's an entire ecosystem in your garden, Keith. Spring comes later here because I live 1,000 meters above sea level. The flowers and butterflies appear later. Enjoy a wonderful Sunday

I have quite a large...........and very untidy garden, it's not showing much growth at the moment...........but we're getting there as the days get warmer and sunnier.

We had hardly any butterflies at all last year...........they are in decline in England at the moment. We're hoping to see more this year!

Die heißen bei uns auch Puste-Blume. Warum, kannst Du Dir sicher vorstellen. ;-)

As children we called them Dandelion Clocks............and the number of puffs taken to blow all the tiny seed away indicated the time of day :-)))
