Mir gefallen diese Blüten, obwohl doch die einzelnen Blüten recht klein und unscheinbar sind. Hier ist es eher der ganze Blütenstand, aber für einen Blumenstrauß eignet sich die Fetthenne wohl nicht. Eher für ein Gesteck, vielleicht. Wie auch immer, mir gefallen sie gut und ich habe auch welche in unserem Garten. Wahrscheinlich aber nicht so viel wie Du, wie mir scheint. ;-) Der Hintergrund dazu passt gut, finde ich. So schön pastellfarben, das Bild, Ton in Ton. Es wirkt wie gemalt. :-))

I agree that they're probably not suitable for a bouquet, but apparently florists use them in flower arrangements quite often, as they last so well.

I had no idea that they were also called ice-plants...........but Mr Google did. Here is the answer to your question:

"With succulent, frosted stems and a tolerance of icy winters, sedum is commonly known as an ice plant".

I've added "Ice Plant" to my narrative.
