Sedum

Also known as Stonecrop or Ice Plants.
I have quite a large crop of these in my garden, so I brought this little piece indoors to photograph. Taken in natural light using a piece of textured card from a craft shop as a background.
A lot of our flowers are starting to die off now, so I've been bringing a few indoors to photograph them before they get too untidy.........so you'll see some more in due course.

Keith Burton club has replied to bonsai59 clubI agree that they're probably not suitable for a bouquet, but apparently florists use them in flower arrangements quite often, as they last so well.
Keith Burton club has replied to Jean-Paul clubKeith Burton club has replied to Peter Castell clubI had no idea that they were also called ice-plants...........but Mr Google did. Here is the answer to your question:
"With succulent, frosted stems and a tolerance of icy winters, sedum is commonly known as an ice plant".
I've added "Ice Plant" to my narrative.
