I've known there was a Wren visiting my garden for quite a while now, but although I've seen it, I've never been able to get a photo........until this day when I was in the garden and actually had my camera with me. Not the best lens, but I didn't want to miss the photo by going back indoors to grab my 100-400mm zoom, so this little set are all cropped.,
Please check out the PiPs as well if you have time, one of them includes an adult bird feeding a grasshopper nymph to the juvenile. All photos were taken on a woodpile in the corner of my garden, which I leave to attract wildlife.
Thanks for looking.

I often see one briefly when I am in my garage, but we have a bother boy grey squirrel that keeps everything on their toes.
Really impressive shots !
Keith Burton club has replied to Roger (Grisly) clubWe've only had a couple of grey squirrels visiting this year..............which is unusual, as most years we have half a dozen or so. Mind you, it's saved me a fortune in bird food :-))

Keith Burton club has replied to trester88 clubI've had dead wood in my garden for a few years now, most of it has completely rotted down, but there is still some left for the birds and bugs!
