Along with ladybirds, I also haven't seen many hoverflies this year! Of ten not easy to capture, but you have done it well here. I love the dahlia. Their petals are so perfect and I love the colour.

We had a windy night last night and we now have just one surviving dahlia bloom in our garden but we still have plenty of hoverflies left!

Thank you. Most of the flowers in my back garden have already died, but some of the ones in large pots in my front garden have survived and are still flowering at the moment.

Du kannst dich glücklich schätzen, dass du noch so schöne Blüten in deinem Garten hast, Keith! Bei uns war im August alles von der Sonne verbrannt und ausgetrocknet. Danach kam nichts mehr.
