Lunch Time..!!

Lunch Time..!!
Yesterday afternoon we went for a walk around the Heath Pond at Petersfield Hampshire, about a 20 minute drive away. There is a well defined path around the pond and local residents have put up some small bird feeding stations along the way. We spotted this unusual "bird" about 6ft up the tree!

Go large for best effect!

Ernest CH, Gudrun, Tanja - Loughcrew, Diane Putnam and 25 other people have particularly liked this photo

Well spotted Keith, always a curse around waterways. They are ever watchful for an opportunity, something I always worry about with bird feeders and I am always looking out for suspicious holes in the ground or under fences. If I see one I quickly empty the feeders and take them away for a few days.

That half coconut isn't going to last long. The local RSPB reserve has rats climbing up the poles to the feeders.

Oh my goodness, not exactly the most gorgeous wildlife, is it? Well, he lives there, too, so what can you expect? Great shot!
