Sparrow

Sparrow
Taken at Pulborough Brooks Nature Reserve (RSPB), West Sussex. A juvenile by the look of it, still hanging about to be fed by it's parents.

Gudrun, Treasa Ui Cionaodha, Ernest CH, Jean-luc Drouin and 11 other people have particularly liked this photo

That's lovely Keith. There are a lot of them about at the moment. I have had many juvenile sparrows, blackbird and a sweet little thrush in the garden. The bird stands out so well against the background and I love the wood textures.

In Deutschland ist der Spatz der häufigste Vogel. Der Spatz mag keine ordentlichen Gärten, sondern Unordnung und dichtes Laub oder Hecken.

It used to be one of the most frequent birds here as well. No one seems to know why!
