This week in SSC:

"Something interesting from my street"

I live way out in the woods and the lane I live on is really just a long driveway that ends at my house (see PIP.)

I walked down it a couple of times but really couldn't find anything too interesting (and I didn't think I should post a photo of my neighbor's house. :)) So... I took a photo of a tadpole that is in our pond since the lane goes right by it. I thought he was pretty interesting. Check out his little tail!

It's great but it's not noise-free. It seems as soon as I sit on the deck to relax outside the neighbor starts up some kind of power tool lol. :)) But mostly it's very nice and private here.

That's so true. I was so surprised he still had his tail when the rest of him was so developed. I read that they live off the food stored in their tail. So cool!

A super shot, Karen. Great focus! A clever musical match :-) This is a great track. Love it :-) I was going to say this is a completely new music to me. But, reading Wikipedia I see that Tower of Power's horn section has appeared on a number of other artists' recordings including Otis Redding, Aaron Neville, Bonnie Raitt, Elton John, Huey Lewis. It can't, therefore, be totally 'new' music to me :-)))
