This week in SSC: Macro

This is a teeny tiny, jointed teddy bear made by a talented lady in England. He stands about 2 inches (or 5 cm) tall.

I don't own a "macro" lens but out of curiosity, I made a real inexpensive purchase a while ago of some Meike 10 & 16mm extension tubes ($18.95 on Amazon!) I attached both of them to my 55-210mm lens and played around. Let me know what you think of the quality.

Oh, what a little beauty, Karen! You photographed him so well, too! Those mini teddies are amazing, aren't they? I have a few in my bear collection, and I can't believe people can hand make these things with such incredible detail :-)

Love the title! Considering this little bear is only 2 inches tall, the quality and sharpness is great. I think I must consider some extension tubes - much cheaper than a macro lens.
