Manhole
I was shovelling snow again this morning (we have had a record-breaking month for snow, passing the old record today of 174 cm, and that in a short month!) when I realised the manhole cover just beyond my kerb was very photogenic. So I took its picture.
Then, when I was tidying the picture up on the computer, I thought I would try to do a round image ("tondo"). But I wasn't sure how to do that and instead I got a border that used a mix of fractures of the lettering on the manhole cover.
I liked it.
