Prairie warbler, a long way from where he should be

This morning I walked to the river at the bottom of our valley to see if I could see one of the warblers that someone said were there.

I was lucky and saw this Prairie warbler.

I had to wait to get home and look it up to know what it might be, and then wait again until a local expert corroborated my conclusion on a birders' website.

It's a new one for me.
