Early 16th C Italian (Venetian) Renaissance styled dress. I made it out of a lovely grape colored linen. The apple green apron is hand sewn but the dress only has hand sewing on the inside lining and the neckline. It laces on the sides.

Early 16th C Italian (Venetian) Renaissance styled dress. In this picture, you can see one of the side lacings. These are easy to do yourself and offer a great fit for the dress.

Early 16th C Italian (Venetian) Renaissance styled dress. The back of the dress. I've used this pattern for a few years now to make this style of dress. It truly is my favorite pattern for SCA garb and it's easy to change up the style with something as simple as changing the lacing position, using different fabrics, ect.
