The story behind this picture is long. But, basically, the very large branch fell about two minutes after the guy who owns this tent woke up from a nap and went to smoke a cigarette. If he hadn't woken up, well, you can just make out part of the bed where the branch landed. It would have hit him square on the back. If it broke through the ridge pole for the tent, none of us thought his back would have done much better.
