A flower a day for January .... Well, an entire garden today. This is the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory in Saint Paul's Como Park. This photo's quite nice in the larger sizes .... In January of my freshman year--incredibly, forty years ago--I took a course called "Philosophy in English Poetry" from David White (the link's worth a look-see). The class met in the morning; in the afternoon I'd retreat to this room, and read Dylan Thomas.
