Davis Construction's Mulliken Yard & Shop

Yesterday's black & white, in color.

Davis obviously needed a place to store stuff away from the cities where they actually build things. They don't employ a lot of people in our town, but the yard's always full of (sometimes large) equipment and an assortment of construction supplies. It's pretty impressive.

This photo taken from Mulliken Road, just south of M-43.

As I've mentioned once or twice before, I've been shooting black & white dailies with my Nikon cameras only to have my software ignore the b/w flag in the NEF (RAW) file. So (in general) my processing workflow includes a step to return the pictures to my original monochrome intent.

But, occasionally, the color version's worth saving....
