Fine and Imprisonment by Order of the Magistrates
In Ledbury, Herefordshire, England. The sign, dated 1872, is preserved in the market place under an old Tudor building known as the Old Market House.
The sign does not mention the penalty for spelling 'market' MAKET.

Broadstairs Harbour in the rain
Broadstairs, Kent, England.
A curious mixture of blue sky and rainy weather, dull shade with pretty pastel colours, makes for a very strange colour picture. Hence the simplification to monochrome which also brings out the 'shapes and lines' - I hope.
