Walked on Sunday 26 April 2009 8 miles (plus about an extra mile as we had to walk to the start from Turkey St Station due to no trains to Enfield Lock). There's quite a lot of road in the second half of this section, especially the suburban slog up to Chigwell at the end.

Over Sewardstone Marsh Nature Reserve.
Glorious blue sky and beautiful white fluffy clouds for our walk of the next section of the London Loop - Enfield Lock to Chigwell.

There was a horse's head on the gatepost each side of these gates in Godwin Close, just after leaving the Sewardstone Marsh Nature Reserve, but the gates were too wide to make a good shot of them both together.
