I just read about Sebastian Horsley (whom I'd never heard of before.... ) and found out he lived in Meard Street, so I'll venture Soho Square - because of the tree...

Close but not Soho Square. The tree is in the grounds of a church. Go out of the narrow end of Meard St and turn left...

Ah, ha! It's next to St Anne's in Wardour Street.
