Jenny... you said about having difficulty needling through the cushion.

When i "quilted" a linen chest years ago... I used an upholstery need.... veryyyyyyyyy long.... worked great.

I also did the self covering buttons.

A zillion to be found online.

Thanks Pam - I've just gone on-line and found the needles you're on about and have bought some. It does look as if it'll be easier to thread the buttons I must say with those long ones.
