"Proliférer" est peut-être un peu fort mais leur population a bien augmenté depuis quelques décennies!
Les nids sont toujours perchés: cheminées, poteaux, clochers etc!!!!!

Je pensais que c'était différent de la Polynésie française. L'introduction du rat noir et des chats a été catastrophique pour les oiseaux endémiques qui n'avaient jusque là jamais eu de prédateurs !
