Monastère de la Grande Chartreuse (38) 17 octobre 2019.

Le monastère de la Grande Chartreuse est le premier monastère et la maison-mère des moines-ermites de l'ordre des Chartreux. Il est situé sur la commune de Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse, dans l'Isère.
Conformément à la règle cartusienne qui veille à protéger la solitude des moines, le monastère ne se visite pas. Cependant, un musée est installé dans la Correrie, à 2 km environ en aval du monastère. Des reconstitutions de cellules monastiques permettent de comprendre ce qu'est la vie d'un moine chartreux.

Il ne s'agit pas vraiment d'une vallée; le monastère est construit au fond d'un cirque montagneux à environ 1000 m d'altitude. Une belle grimpette pour y parvenir, crois-moi!
On ne visite pas. la promenade autour de l'édifice doit se faire en silence. Les moines y vivent reclus.
Ils recrutent......si ça t'intéresse!!!!.........................

The monastery is not open to the public. But visitors can go around after a 2 km hike. It is forbidden to speak loudly and make noise; This beautiful place is very conducive to meditation.

Je me suis contenté de ne pas parler autour du monastère: comme tu le dis: pas dérangeant du tout. Pour le reste, il faudrait déjà pouvoir y rentrer!!!!!!! Les visites sont interdites!
