Visited family members of my French exchange student here in 1972 and again about the time this shot was taken, June 1973! Memories of Beaujolais and white Burgundy at mealtimes as perfectly natural for 14 year olds and was mightily impressed!
I was also introduced to rock climbing here - at La Roche du Solutre.
Wine and the mountains and the rocks became lifelong passions!

Ich mag diese Stadt. Oft haben wir hier auf unseren Fahrten in den Süden Frankreichs einen Zwischenaufenthalt eingelegt ! Für uns fing der Urlaub schon bei einem Bummel durch die Altstadt und an der Saône entlang an.
