Der Himmel war an diesen Tag sehr bewölkt. Deshalb und überhaupt eine kurze Belichtungszeit hinzubekommen sind die Eisvogel Bilder teilweise mit 12000 ISO aufgenommen. Um das Rauschen zu entfernen verwende ich DxO Pure Raw.

This very pretty Grade II listed thatched cottage was originally the home of the village wheelwright and has only had 3 owners since it was built! It is now a holiday cottage. MY THANKS FOR ALL VISITS AND COMMENTS IT IS APPRECIATED

......and in only a few days the daffodils will be flowering.

Much as I would like to cut down this dead tree in my yard and use the logs for heating, a family of Goldfinches regularly use the bare branches to gather and sing to each other. There were 17 of these little birds on the day photo was taken, but often I've seen in excess of 25-30 at a time.

Thought it would be nice to share photo of a large 4ft x 3ft painting of two horses fighting by artist Michelle Howlett and purchased by me at a local craft fair over 30 years ago.
