A sudden surge of warm air began to "eat" the snow. The combination of warm air and cold snowpack makes for a thick, low hanging fog. Coupled with the brilliant sunset, it was a once in a lifetime experience to witness.

We've had more than our fair share of snow this winter, but it should help ease the drought conditions.
