is 34 594 acres, as of now. and it still is raging .

Back from yesterday half answer, no the reporting is the same than 5 years ago, plane and satellite geo location, but for you to take the full measure of it, in the last 24 hours we have to add 7.313 acres to the last figure.

I have seen the fires on TV Jose. So terrible. We have a few here but not on the scale that is affecting Portugal. Let's hope for rain soon.

Thank you Rosalyn.
They have more than 1600 firemen out there and more than 600 fire engines.
It is true the wind is a changing every hour but it seems there are not enough heavy planes.
