Igreja da Misericórdia de Viseu

The Igreja da Misericórdia began to be built in 1775, with the master bricklayer António da Costa Faro being responsible for the work and perhaps also the author of the facade design, which has many similarities with that of the Igreja dos Terceiros (Viseu). The central body of the façade extends for two more lateral bodies, giving the church a manor look, on the last of which the two bell towers are uncharacteristically based.

Sending you best wishes and a hug for a wonderful week, Jose.
I love Portugal. We spent all our time in the north as we are not beach loving package tourists.
We travel independently, and moved all around by train and bus to many small towns with no tourists. It was fantastic!
