Plymouth City Centre trees

The best thing about the city centre was the profusion of beautiful trees in the heart of the shopping area, with rock gardens made from the old kerbstones that were dug up when the streets were pedestrianised in the late 80s.

In March 2023, the Council vandalised this area, felling more than one hundred mature trees in the middle of the night, before an injunction was sought to stop them.
