Wow! It looks like Norfolk thatch on steroids. Norfolk has a similar second layer along the roofline, but smaller and, I think, a bit thinner.

Mainly I'm familiar with East Anglia Isisbridge. Photos I've seen of thatch in other counties tend to show simpler styles, but this is spectacular.
