And the building beyond it seems even more carbuncular. Excellent title -- the churches seem to have forgotten that expression.

It's all the same building. I checked on street view and the rear part now has a sign saying 'try praying'. So I'll try praying for its demolition and subsequent replacement with something prettier. But it's better than a mosque.
