Isisbridge club has replied to SkipperSo you've been to Oxford?
A long way from the sea, but you could sail your yacht up the Thames.
Skipper has replied to Isisbridge clubYes, I visited Oxford with my family, don't remember when, perhaps in 1971. We had a nice tour of South England by car visiting the most attractive places. I enjoyed it a lot. Until then I only knew London and I discovered that the smaller cities are much nicer!
Sailing in the Thames was one of my wish, but I don't think I'll be able to do it with my boat - too long from here. Perhaps I could charter a boat there or take some tourists tours...
