I don't remember the names of the gods of this fabulous polytheistic religion
I remember the guides, perfect tapes...I would go away to observe the details but no names..., Hans!

Nor can I remmeber the names. there are so many. It's said that there are about 300000 different gods and godesses if one also counts the dirfferent incarnations and avatars. Far too many for my litlle brain. But I am sure that most Hindus only know the most imortant gods and their spouses and perhaps a couple more that are important to them individually.
For me it was enough to enjoy the subtlety of the sculptures, the fine art of carving and the vivid expression. It's so very fascinating to see this different religious world.
