This is what I had for Christmas dinner – ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, baby Swiss cheese and rye bread for a ham on rye sandwich. Taken with the camera I bought brand new in 1978 and expired film. It turned out great, considering the age of the film. I bought a couple new cookbooks at a resale shop on Wednesday, so last night I made this dish from a recipe that was in one of them. The book was called "The Frugal Gourmet Cooks Three Ancient Cuisines - China, Greece and Rome." Taken on February 15th, 2024, with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR.

What is wrong with this picture? I'll tell you what's wrong with it. The hot dog is from a pack I bought because they were "bun-length" hot dogs; that is, longer than normal hot dogs so they would fill up the bun to the edge. But, as you can see - the buns themselves are no longer "bun-length." Food companies - please stop shrinking the size of our food, while continually raising the prices. I want my "bun-length" buns back.

Szechuan Beef is what I made for dinner last night. It was so delicious, I forgot to get a picture of it for my recipe album before I ate it. There was some left, so that's what I photographed tonight to get a record of it. Taken on August 28th, 2024, with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR.

I've been wanting a waffle iron for a long time, and finally got one. This was the first waffle I made with it. It was delicious! I used my own homemade dandelion syrup on it.

I had a dinner to attend and this is one of the desserts I brought to it. It's chocolate cake, with chocolate icing on top, smothered with cherries.

I made these Irish Mist Brownies for a funeral dinner held at my church yesterday. A member had died and their family requested the dinner for after the funeral, which my church does all the time. Taken on November 24th, 2024, with my little Samsung L100 digital point and shoot camera.
